Nigerians deported from Germany, Italy, Belgium

No fewer than 43 Nigerians were on Thursday deported from Italy, Germany and Belgium, for committing various offences. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the deportees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMlA), Lagos at about 8.40 p.m. The deportees, who are all male, were brought back with a chartered Hifly aircraft with registration number CS-TQW, amidst tight security. Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sidi, the Director-General, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), confirmed the development to NAN. File photo of deporteees He said 33 of the deportees were from Italy, while the other seven and another three were deported from Germany and Italy, respectively.

President Donald Trump In a letter sent to schools on Wednesday night, the Donald Trump administration said it is rescinding on the Obama -era guidance directing schools to allow transgender students use the bathroom that matches their gender identity The Justice and Education Departments in the letter, said the Obama administration’s guidance did not explain how it was consistent with the law. The letter claimed that the directive caused confusion and lawsuits over its enforcement. Anti-bullying safeguards will not be affected, according to the letter. “All schools must ensure that all students, including LGBT students, are able to learn and thrive in a safe environment,” the letter reads.

President, Yemi Osinbajo , the Task Force focused on gaining a full understanding of all factors that contribute to unduly high food prices, especially at urban markets throughout the country. It also considered the ways and means of urgently ameliorating the situation, particularly by addressing issues of affordability and availability.

Indian Police busts ringleaders of internet scam that duped thousands of $550m

Indian police on Friday busted an internet scam in which around 650,000 people lost a combined 37 billion rupees ($549 million). Police, who described the pyramid-style scheme as one of India’s biggest ever, said they had arrested three ringleaders on the outskirts of New Delhi, the capital, and seized more than 5 billion rupees (74 million dollars) from bank accounts.

Journalists begin boycott of Zamfara Govt activities
