Top South African Gospel star Lundi Tymara dies at 38

Fans of South African gospel star Lundi Tymara have received shocking news of the passing of the 38 year old singer who died after an illness. His manager announced the sad news saying: “Lundi put up a gallant fight against his illness, but God’s will prevailed.


We ask that his fans,supporters and followers join us in celebrating his life”.

Lundi, who was dubbed as the “bad boy” of the gospel industry spoke openly about his struggles with drugs and alcohol.

Darkness Looms As 7 Power Plants Shut Down, 1,899MW Lost… See Details

According to the latest industry data on sector reforms/activities, four plants belonging to the National Integrated Power Projects are shut, while others have remained non-functional for some days. The Punch reports that the report, which was made available in Abuja on Sunday, indicated that a partial system collapse occurred on January 12 this year, adding that the system frequency dropped by eight hertz on the same day. It stated, “Partial collapse occurred on January 12, 2017. At 8:41hours, system frequency dropped from 51Hz to 43Hz. Lagos, Osogbo, Jebba, Kainji and Shiroro lost supply, while other areas survived. The total load loss was 1,899.7MW.
