In as much as the sound has been buzzing since its leak on Saturday, January 14th, 2016, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has made a move to stop the promotion of Wizkid’s new tune Hush Up The Silence which features Canadian rapper, Drake.
According to TheNet, a mail sent to them from the IFPI stated;
We have learned that your service is making available, distributing and/or referring/linking users to infringing copies of the following sound recordings, the copyrights in which are exclusively owned or controlled by one or more IFPI Represented Companies. We are asking for your immediate assistance in stopping this unauthorised activity.

The IFPI is involved in this due to the fact that Wizkid is signed to Sony Music who are also part of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
Reaching out to WizKids Manager, Sunny Are claimed he does not know who or where the song was leaked from but assured that it was not from Nigeria. Mr. Are further said that who ever leaked the song should be kind enough to take it down.
Last year, Drake featured both Wizkid and Kyla on his One Dance track which gained Wizkid a lot of credits locally and internationally.
