After 12 years, Riccardo Tisci departs Givenchy from his role as Artistic Director


It was announced yesterday that Riccardo Tisci, who has been the creative director for the storied house of Givenchy, has exited the french brand.
During his time at the house, Tisci brought in a streewear sensibility to Haute Couture, as well as champion both racial and sexual diversity in fashion.
His tremendous talent drew in celebrity fans like Beyonce, Rooney Mara, Jessica Chastain, Cate Blanchett, Amanda Seyfried, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

Rumour has it that Tisci may be heading to Versace, and that possible replacements like Clare Waight Keller (formerly of Chloe), Olivier Rousteing (currently at Balmain), and Hedi Slimane (formerly of Saint Laurent) are in the running.
